Once you have visited The Montessori House, you may want to apply for enrollment.

See our 2017 Admissions Update for the latest on admissions for September 2017.

Here’s how the enrollment process works:

  1. Vist the school for a tour and complete the admissions application and return it to the school with the non-refundable $85 application fee. The date we receive these items establishes initial priority in the enrollment process.
  2. We begin to make enrollment offers in January for the following September, and have rolling admissions until our sessions are full (at which point we start waiting lists).  We'll send you an Enrollment Registration Agreement which you'll need to sign and return with a tuition deposit.

  3. Once the signed agreement  and deposit are returned, your child’s space in the incoming Montessori House class is guaranteed.
  4. Finally, starting in April, but before school starts, a school representative will arrange an appointment for you and your child to meet with the school Director for a final school readiness assessment.

Want to Visit Us?  Call to Schedule a Private Tour

The best way to learn about The Montessori House School is to visit us.  Once you see our students and teachers in action, in the classroom, you'll understand what makes the Montessori classroom so special, so different, and so effective.  And, we hope you'll begin to appreciate the warm, caring, inviting atmosphere that our students, parents, and teacher love so much.

We schedule only private tours, for you and your spouse, orf for you and a friend or relative.  On a private tour we focus exclusively on your questions and addrees your unique concerns regarding the school you want for your child.  In addition to seeing our facility, viewing our credentials and licenses, and learning about how we run our school, we'll also spend time with your in the classroom.  Of course, we'll have you observe the program you're considering for your child, but we'll also invite you to spend time observing programs your child would attend after her or his first yeat at The Montessori House.

Each school year, our first available appointments are in October, once the children have settled in for the new school year, and we schedule tours through the end of school in June, on days classes are in session.  We usually make appointment for 9:15 a.m., 10:15 a.m., and 1:00 p.m. Tours are usually 40 to 60 minutes long, with a generous amoung of time spent observing quietly in the classrooms.

Because the most informative and interesting part of the tour, for parents, is observing in the classroom, we strongly recommend an "adults only" tour.  If children accompany you on the tour, we can spend far less time in the observing classroom, as child visitor are often distracted and distracting in the classrom.
