This privacy statement discloses the online privacy practices for The Montessori House ("The Montessori House"). Because The Montessori House wants to demonstrate its firm commitment to your privacy, The Montessori House has agreed to disclose its information gathering and dissemination practices.

INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE
The Montessori House is the sole owner of the information collected on this site about it's visitors and registered users/parents. Users still retain full ownership of their property and with that can control it's usage and how it is displayed if displayed at all. We will not sell, share or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. The Montessori House collects information from our visitors at several different points on our web site. We use visitor contact information to send the visitor information about our school. The parent's contact information is also used to contact the parent when necessary. Parents and visitors may opt-out of receiving future mailings; see the choice/opt-out section below. We will not use the information collected to promote other affiliate programs, products, web sites and services.

Information about your computer hardware and software is automatically collected by The Montessori House. This information includes: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring Web site addresses. This information is used by The Montessori House to maintain and improve quality of the service and to generate statistics regarding use of the The Montessori House site.

CHOICE/OPT-OUT
Our site provides visitors and parents the opportunity to opt-out of receiving communications from us. To receive no further communication from use, please send and email to contact(at)themontessorihouse(dot)com with the word REMOVE in the subject line.

COOKIES
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's hard drive containing information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. Once the user closes their browser, a cookie simply terminates. For instance, by setting a cooking for The Montessori House, the parent would not have to log in a password more than once, thereby saving time while on our site. If a user rejects the cookie, they may still use our site. Cookies can also enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on our site.

ACCOUNT ESTABLISHMENT
Upon joining our school, The Montessori House will send an e-mail to the e-mail address provided during registration. This is to establish an additional channel of communication. Your online password will be delivered to you at this time. Accounts with invalid e-mail addresses will not be able to participate in all features of The Montessori House website.

NOTIFICATION OF CHANGES
If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on our Home page and use our best efforts to announce via e-mail so all users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. If at any point we decide to use personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time it was collected, we will make a reasonable effort to notify users by way of an e-mail. Users have a choice as to whether or not we use their information in this different manner. We will use information in accordance with the privacy policy under which the information was collected.

Welcome to TheMontessoriHouse.com, a website for The Montessori House school in Tenafly, NJ. This Website is owned and operated by The Montessori House.This Agreement describes the terms and conditions applicable to your use of our services at www.themontessorihouse.com. If you do not agree to be bound by this Agreement, you may not use or access our services.

By accessing the The Montessori House website (the “Website”) you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (this "Agreement").

This Agreement sets out the legally binding terms of your use of the Website and may be modified by The Montessori House from time to time, such modifications to be effective upon posting by The Montessori House on the Website. This Agreement includes The Montessori House’s Privacy Policy, and any notices regarding the Website.

The Montessori House may terminate your membership for any reason, effective upon sending a notice to you at the email address you provide in your application for membership, or such other email address as you may later provide to The Montessori House. Even after membership is terminated, this Agreement will remain in effect. Even after this Agreement is terminated, certain provisions will remain in effect, including Clauses 3 (Term), 11 (Disclaimers), 12 (Limitation of Liability), and 14 (Indemnity) of this Agreement.

3. Non-Commercial Use by Members.
The Website is only for the personal use of individual Members and visitors and may not be used in connection with any commercial endeavours. Illegal and/or unauthorized uses of the Website, including collecting usernames and/or email addresses of members by electronic or other means for the purpose of sending unsolicited email and unauthorized framing of or linking to the Website will be investigated, and appropriate legal action will be taken, including without limitation, civil, criminal, and injunctive redress.

4. Use of Online Web Forums.
If this Website contains bulletin board services, chat areas, news groups, forums and/or other message or communication facilities (collectively, "Forums"), you agree to use the Forums only to send and receive messages and material that are proper and related to the particular Forum. This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law. You agree that any action at law or in equity arising out of or relating to these terms shall be filed only in the state or federal courts located in Bergen County, New Jersey and you hereby consent and submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts for the purposes of litigating any such action.

14. Indemnity.
You agree to indemnify and hold The Montessori House, its subsidiaries, parent or holding companies, affiliates, officers, agents, and other partners and employees, harmless from any loss, liability, claim, or demand, including reasonable attorney's fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your use of the Service in violation of this Agreement and/or arising from a breach of this Agreement and/or any breach of your representations and warranties set forth above.

15. Notices.
Unless otherwise explicitly stated, notices to The Montessori House shall be sent by registered mail to 426 Knickerbocker Rd., Tenafly, NY 07670 and notices to you will be sent to the email address that you provide during the registration process (receipt is deemed 24 hours after an email is sent, unless we receive notice that the email address is invalid), or by registered mail. Notices sent by registered mail will be deemed received 3 days following the date of mailing.

16. Miscellaneous.
We reserve the right to refuse to service to anyone. If any provision of these terms shall be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from these terms and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions. This Agreement, accepted upon use of the Website and further affirmed by becoming a Member of the Service, contains the entire agreement between you and The Montessori House regarding the use of the Website and/or the Service.

Use and/or otherwise access to this website acknowledges that you HAVE READ THIS AGREEMENT AND AGREE TO ALL OF THE PROVISIONS CONTAINED ABOVE.

Email Policy

We are committed to keeping your e-mail address confidential. We do not sell, rent, or lease our subscription lists to third parties, and we will not provide your personal information to any third party individual, government agency, or company at any time unless compelled to do so by law.
